Match Data Correction Policy
How STARBUzz reviews possible errors in covered cricket records while preserving the source and snapshot context.
What can be reported
A visitor may report a possible issue with a team name, match state, score, innings, venue, start time, result note, or another displayed provider field. The report should identify the match page and the specific field requiring review.
How to submit a report
Use the Contact page, select “Match-data correction,” and include the match URL, the displayed value, the expected value, and a reliable source when available. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, API keys, or government identifiers.
Review process
STARBUzz reviews the current normalized record, the most recent provider response, snapshot timing, and available source context. The team may refresh the provider record, correct a presentation or normalization defect, preserve the provider-returned value with additional context, or close the report when the available evidence does not support a change.
Source corrections
When an issue originates in the upstream record, STARBUzz may retain the labelled provider-returned value until the provider changes it. STARBUzz does not silently invent a replacement score, result, participant, or fixture.
Record of a request
The reporter’s contact information and message are processed under the Privacy Policy. The support team may request clarification and may retain a limited record of the review for quality, security, and accountability purposes.
Escalation
If a visitor believes a correction request was misunderstood, the visitor may reply through the same support channel with additional evidence or contact KnowMore@eyrus.com for operator review.
